Walden Concorda Line
The Synthesis of Soul and Guitar
(January 2009) Walden Guitars premiers the new Concorda high gloss line of guitars at the Winter NAMM show featuring the CD550CE. A single cutaway dreadnaught, the CD550CE champions a brilliant gloss finish with a solid Spruce top and mahogany back and sides. Fishman provides the electronics and the gorgeous inlaid wood rosette is comprised of two rings of Maple and Mahogany.
“Rarely is a guitar with this voice, materials, and playability available at this price. Our aim was to use clean design on this favorite of performers and home recording enthusiasts. A step up from our Natura D550CE, players can enjoy the added sparkle of details like its gloss finish and a wood rosette enhances the overall balance of the instrument”, said American Luthier, Division Manager and Chief Designer, Jonathan Lee.
