WILLET is a Rock Band out of Westminster, MD made up of brothers, Jeremy, Justin, and Jordan Willet. WILLET tours nationally full time, performing over 250 dates per year.

Jeremy, Justin and Jordan grew up in a Christian home taking piano lessons from their father, which resulted in expanding to other instruments such as bass, drums and guitar. Being that the Willet brothers have always shared a close relationship both musically, and relationally, they pursued a vision to help kids all over the world.

In February of 2007, WILLET traveled to Ethiopia, Africa with a film crew. The images of hungry children, dirty streets, and poverty will never be forgotten. While on this 10-day journey, many of the kids that the band came in contact with attempted to communicate through broken English. The phrase repeated throughout the trip was, "I have the virus,” or "I don't have the virus, praise God!" The virus they are speaking of is the HIV/AIDS virus that is sweeping through Africa, killing thousands of children each day.

In April of 2008, the band released a full-length “concept album” for Africa called, “VIRUS”, which included 10 songs, a documentary, photos from Africa and an E-book of “writings” explaining the lyrics. The songs were written over a span of two years in hotel rooms, tour buses, coffee shops, airports, tour vans, and on the streets of Africa. The songs were written to challenge the listener, the church, and America to be proactive in fighting the war on poverty. Following the release of the album, the band left for an 8-month tour across the U.S. in support of the new album.

WILLET has always attempted to go above and beyond expectations when it comes to live show performance. The band appears in secular clubs, as well as Christian venues, where they portray a message of hope for Africa, and HIV/AIDS victims through FOOD FOR THE HUNGRY (FH) child sponsorship. Over the past 5 years, over 500 children have been sponsored through WILLET’S participation with child sponsorship, raising over $500,000 for orphaned children in Africa.

Inspired by the 3 brothers that make up CHEVELLE, plus a deep root for integrity, and a passion for an intense live show, the band tours the country full time sharing their music. WILLET can be compared to BLINDSIDE, PROJECT 86 AND CHEVELLE. WILLET has had the opportunity to share the stage with national acts such as: ANBERLIN, LEELAND, DIZMAS, STARFIELD, HAWK NELSON, KJ-52, MAINSTAY, FALLING UP, JOHN RUEBEN, PROJECT 86, THOUSAND FOOT CRUTCH, CASTING PEARLS, TAIT, LAST TUESDAY, STAPLE, STELLAR KART, BY THE TREE, DAY OF FIRE, SANCTUS REAL, SINCE OCTOBER, CHILDREN 18:3 and KIDS IN THE WAY.
