Andres Roots is the slide guitarist and main songwriter with the
Estonian alternative blues trio Bullfrog Brown. With seven internationally acclaimed
releases to their name, including "Mother River Delta" which was declared
'Best European Recording' of 2008 by Canada's Blues Underground Network, the group
stand as the best-known Baltic act on the blues scene today.
Maintaining a busy live schedule, Bullfrog Brown have backed delta blues legends such as David "Honeyboy" Edwards
and toured with alt. blues heroes like Scotland's Dave Arcari. They have appeared at blues,
roots and guitar festivals and clubs throughout the Baltics, in Finland, the UK, France, Poland,
the Czech Republic and Slovakia, while their songs remain in steady rotation on blues radio
shows on four continents.
